Seasonal Flowers, Grown & Arranged in Cheshire

Hi, I’m Imogen — the founder of Firs Flower Farm.

​

The idea for Firs Flower Farm first took root during the pandemic while I was on maternity leave with my youngest. We were living temporarily in Cape Town, and spending so much time outdoors completely shifted my perspective. Weekends exploring South Africa’s incredible regenerative farms made it clear that I needed a life away from a desk and closer to the land. That was where the seed of flower farming was planted, and before long we were researching how to make it a reality back home in the UK.

In 2023, we returned and settled on a five-acre plot in Helsby, Cheshire, with wide views across the plains and out towards Wales. From the start, we’ve used no-dig methods and regenerative growing techniques. They’re better for the environment, and we’ve found they produce stronger, more characterful flowers - the kind that make wedding designs feel natural, seasonal and full of life.

At Firs Flower Farm, we grow and design flowers for weddings and celebrations across Cheshire and the North West, and we also offer workshops, bouquets, sympathy flowers and wholesale stems for florists.
